San Diego mayor opposes ‘toilet-to-tap’ proposal

SAN DIEGO — Mayor Jerry Sanders is opposing a plan to supply residents with treated sewage for drinking water, saying, “I’ll oppose any effort to bring about toilet-to-tap. There is neither the money nor the public will to support such a program,” according to a September 13 10News story.
